The international progressive/symphonic rock project CHASING ZENITHS has revealed the new single “Slipstream” featuring CHARLOTTE WESSELS (Charlotte Wessels, former Delain). The song is taken from the project’s debut album “Epochs Changing”, set to be released on November 22nd.

The mastermind Carl Kernie stated about the message of “Slipstream” and the collaboration with Charlotte Wessels:

“Slipstream” is about the often challenging course that needs to be taken while navigating a failing friendship. Such a transition can be both exhilarating and contemplative, often yielding relief in equal measure to chagrin. Featuring maven vocalist Charlotte Wessels and supported by virtuoso guitarist Timo Somers and bassist Roman Engen, the song delves headlong into these diametrically opposed emotional experiences. About
CHASING ZENITHS is the progressive and symphonic rock brainchild of songwriter, composer, and guitarist Carl Kernie. While living upon such exotic shores as Washington, Colorado, Kansas, Switzerland, and Norway, Carl developed a sincere love of composing music with all the wondrous sounds of modern and traditional instruments and voices.
An avid concert-goer, Carl soon made the acquaintance of fantastically talented musicians, many of whom he now calls friends and several of whom he invited to participate on his debut album Epochs Changing. Rooted deeply in personal reflection and experiences, “Epochs Changing” is the result of years of grit and determination to create unique soundscapes that will hopefully inspire others to pursue what is most important to them.
