The Italian hardcore metallers KEEP THE PROMISE are pleased to share with old and new fans the lyric video of “Stupid People On Social Media”. The song, featuring the guest vocalist Otis Artioli from The Wild Covenant, is taken from the latest EP “Mass Extinction” released on June 16th, 2023. Watch it here:
As stated by Metal Noise in the wonderful review of “Mass Extinction”:
“Keyboard warriors get a verbal beating as the band throws kerosene on the fire and hits deathcore levels of intensity. Straight to the point this vicious little ditty goes off like a nail bomb in a confined space, ripping its surroundings to shreds in a few seconds.”
“Mass Extinction” is a denunciation against the global capitalist power represented by multinationals, the major banking and financial groups and the corrupt governments that have allowed them to exercise their power to exploit human and environmental resources. There is also strong criticism towards those ignorant people who do not understand the gravity of the situation and believe the lies of the corrupt media driven by globalist power. The sound obviously expresses the hatred we have always felt towards criminal and corrupt power, hoping that the message will be received by all generations.
