Grand Rapids-based progressive thrash metal project KAPTAIN KOLLNOT is proud to share its recent single “Mankinds”. “Mankinds” is a fast-paced, yet melodic track that comfortably mashes up thrash, progressive, and power metal elements, while the lyrics are inspired by the Multi Dimensional Future Human hypothesis.
KAPTAIN KOLLNOT is the solo project of West Michigan musician Jeff Kollnot. He started the project in 2019. In that time he has released a full-length and an EP. The “Future Human” EP was the first to feature former Iced Earth and current Into Eternity vocalist, Stu Block.
“Mankinds” is the first single from the project’s upcoming album, entitled “The Aquarius Shift”. The record is currently slated for a late 24 or early 25 release date.
